ESL Reading features in the forthcoming teaching manual, Tips for Teaching with Call (2007, Longman). It provides free graded reading materials for English language learners.

Some texts are original while others are adaptations of classic texts. They are are graded by vocabulary, grammar and readability.

There are ghost, comic and adventure stories and a young learners section. There are also two special features: The Story of The Beatles and The Story of Football. For teachers there are links to extensive reading materials, and teaching tips for using stories in the pre school classroom

For extensive listening practice there is a selection of the best ESL podcasts: including VOA English Audio, ESL Podcast and Breaking News.
