Inside the band things are not going well. Tension is obvious when they go back into Abbey Road Recording Studio.

Recording
The Beatles (popularly called 'The White Album') is difficult. Individual band members focus on their own songs. They arrive at the studio at different times. When they do meet they argue.


1968 On History Channel, Dec 9th: The Beatles White Album -

Ringo Starr walks out after an argument with Paul. He stays away for two weeks. When he returns there is a large bunch of flowers on his drum kit.

But on several tracks the drums are played by McCartney.
